Be it Remembered that a County Court was begun and held for the County of Dyer, State of Tennessee at the Court House in the Town of Dyersburg, on the first Monday in December, it being the second day of said month in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty and the 75th year of American Independence. Present and holding said Court the Worshipfull THOMAS J. CONNELL Esqr. Chairman & presiding Justice of said court, SAMUEL McDAVID, ISAAC SAWYER, A. C. PIERCE, ALEXANDER B. STALCUP, ASA GRIFFIN, H. N. Issued 3rd Decr 1850 Ordered by the Court that ASA GRIFFIN Esqr be appointed Revenue Commissioner for the 1st Civil District in Dyer County and that he take in and Return a list of the Taxable property & Polls in said district for the year 1851.
Issued 3rd Decr 1850 Ordered by the Court that THOMAS NASH Esqr be appointed Revenue Commissioner for the 2nd Civil District in Dyer County and that he take in and Return a list of the Taxable property & Polls in said district for the year 1851.
Issued 3rd Decr 1850 Ordered by the Court that BENJAMIN W. PERRY be appointed Revenue Commissioner for the 3rd Civil District in Dyer County and that he take in and Return a list of the Taxable property & Polls in said district for the year 1851.

This day THOMAS OLDS was chosen and appointed the Guardian of the minor Heirs of F. BEASLEY deceased... with ASA GRIFFIN his securety...
This day the Last Will and Testament of WILLIAM SMITH deceased was produced in open court, whereupon, came THOMAS H. FOWLKES and JAMES POWELL subscribing witnesses to said will who being first duly sworn depose & say that said WILLIAM SMITH deceased signed & acknowledged the Execution of said Will in their presance...
