Be it Remembered that a County Court was begun and held for the County of Dyer State of Tennessee at the Court House in the Town of Dyersburg on the First Monday in April it being the first day of said month in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty & in the 74th year of American Independence. Present and holding said Court the Worshipful THOMAS J. CONNELL Chairman of said Court, ALEXANDER B. STALCUP & SAMUEL McDAVID quorum Justices, HENRY P. STRAWN, JOHN G. H. WILSON, THOMAS NASH, HENRY WYNNE, SAMUEL WALKER, SAML G. GILLESPIE & JOSEPH N. PIERCE Esquires Justices of this Court present. WILLIAM A. DAWSON Sheriff of this County and JAMES H. Issued 2nd April 1850 This day JAMES F. FERRELL administrator of the Estate of DENT FERRELL deceased made Return of an Inventory and an account of sales of said Estate which was received by the court & ordered of Record.
On a Motion to allow EDWIN EUDALEY Ten dollar & fifty three cents for Repairs on the Court House windows one third of all the Justices of this court being present those voting for said allowance were Esquires CONNELL, McDAVID, STALCUP, NASH, WILSON, WALKER & GILLESPIE so said allowance was made & ordered to be paid by the County Trustee.
