Dyersburg, Dyer Co., TN |
The Roark Family Cemetery is in a triangle of land in a residential subdivision between Melissa Ln and Timothy Dr in Dyersburg, TN. The small plot is bordered on two sides by wood plank fences and on the other by a small woods. Residents from both streets with back yards joining the cemetery keep the area clean. There is only one stone there although there are several graves. Shade from trees made photographing difficult. From the Dyer Co website, I found three burials here. There could be others. Son Charles Joe Roark is buried at Rehoboth Cemetery. William Henry Roark was a leutenant with Dawson's Bivouac CSA. Other children: Bettie, Dora, Willie (W. H. Jr.), and Lucille.
