From other records, I know that Louisa C.'s maiden name was Nantz. I believe this E. A. Ferguson was a brother to my gr-gr-grandfather, Albert Gallatin Ferguson. I base this on the fact that they owned adjoining land and were in business together. E. A. was not in his father's will because he died before it was written. However, there is a family history of a child named Emereth(spelling varies); and census records show a male child of E. A.'s age. The other tombstone at this site is for the little child of E. A. and Louisa C. Ferguson (although on the tomestone it is listed as C. L. Ferguson).
