I am trying to find out if anyone knows who this James Hart was. I think he may be related to my Andrew Hart, who migrated from Scotland in 1844 and was b. in 1825. In the 1850 Dyer Co, TN census, there was a James Hart, b. c. 1787, and an Andrew Hart, b. c. 1788, living in the same household. The tomestone death date is difficult to read because it is broken there. However, it looks like James Hart died in either 1853 or 1855. Since it says he was 84 yrs. old at the time of death, I think he must have been b. c. 1770. This date does not jibe with the census dates for the other James. If anyone has any info on this James Hart, I would certainly like to hear from them. The tomestone is located on Larry Brewer's farm at 451 Reeves Rd. in Finley, TN and is a single burial site.
