I, W. E. TUCKER of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee Feeling and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death and being of sound mind do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me made at any time.

First I direct my funeral expences to be paid as soon as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor.

Secondly I direct authorize and empower my Executor in the event my personal property and effects are unsufficient to pay off and discharge all of my indebtedness and money Legacies hereinafter given and mentioned to sell and convey so much and such fact or parts of my real estate as will be sufficient to obtain means and money to pay off and discharge any and all of my remaining debts and also to pay off & discharge sd. moneyed legacies to be hereinafter given and mentioned. As to what part of my real property & how much to be so sold by my Executor I leave to his sound discretion feeling confident that he will do what is wisest and best and what will be right and just to all.

Third I give to each of my beloved sons J. P. TUCKER, T. S. TUCKER, E. W. TUCKER, V. M. TUCKER and A. J. TUCKER each one dollar to be paid by my Executor out of moneys to be had & derived out of sale of part of my real property as mentioned and set forth above.

Fourth I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter E. M. ELLINGTON wife of E. ELLINGTON one dollar and also I give to my beloved grandchildren MARY & RICHARD TUCKER minor children of my beloved son W. A. TUCKER did [ditto?] to be paid by my Executor out of moneys derived out of sale of part of my real property as aforementioned and set forth each one dollar.

Fifth I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters M. E. TATUM, A. D. TUCKER, D. D. TUCKER and G. R. TUCKER all of the remainder of my property both personal and real and in the event that either one of these die without issue or heirs of their body then her share or part to be devided among the others surviving or their children. As my sd daughters A. D. TUCKER, D. D. TUCKER, and G. R. TUCKER are young and unmarried I desire & it is my will that they shall have the rents and profits of all the real property herein conveyed until their marriage then such one or ones remaining single to have & enjoy rents and profits of same and so on until the marriage or death of my said beloved daughters A. D, D. D., G. R. Tucker And then devided equally among all of my fond daughters M. E. TATUM, A. D., D. D., G. R. TUCKER. I also desire and it is my will that in the event that my beloved daughter M. E. TATUM should become a widdow before the death or marriage of my sd more [?] unmarried daughters then she to share equally with the remaining single ones in the rents and profits of sd real property remaining herein willed & Vo [?]

Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint P. Mc NEAL my Executor.

In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand this the 20th day of January One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty two.
