I, JASON H. THOMPSON of Crockett County Tennessee make this my last will and testament.

First: I give to my wife SALLY E. THOMPSON as long as she shall remain my widow Two Hundred acres of land on my home tract including in the two hundred acres the CONLEY tract of Forty acres and including the improvements at the home place: Also all my household and Kitchen furniture and two mules, Twenty Five barrels of corn: one wagon and farming implements and harness sufficient for a farm & to be cultivated by two mules and two hundred dollars in money: The property hereby given to my wife is to be held by her so long as she lives if she remains my widow But if she marries again it is to go to my residuary legatees and devisees hereinafter named:

Second: I give to MRS. JULIA SMITH wife of WM. M. SMITH of Memphis Tennessee, Five Hundred dollars in money:

Third: And as I have no children I give the remainder of my property of every description including my interest in lands in Arkansas and Kentuckey and all my lands in Tennessee and also all the property given to my wife after her interest shall cease therein to my Aunt LEVINIA PATTON of Williamson County Tennessee and if she shall die before this will takes effect to her children: And I hereby expressly exclude any child which may be born to my wife either before or after my death from any interest in my estate desiring it shall go as hereinbefore set forth:

Fourth: I appoint JOHN B. PATTON of Williamson County Tennessee, the son of my Aunt LAVINIA PATTON executor of this my will and direct that no security be required of him as executor: And if there is no money on hand to pay the money legicies given herein I give him full power to sell property either real or personal to raise said amounts.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of March 1887.
