LOU GENIE SHERROD Will Probated ____ M. B. "9" Pg. __ State of Tenn. Crockett County I, MRS. LOU GENIE SHERROD, of said State and County being of sound mind and desposing memory, do hereby make and publish this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making null all others heretofore made by me. First, I will that as soon after my death as practicable that all of my just debts be paid by my Executor, herein after named: Second: - I will and bequeath to my three Grand children namely, SHERROD COWAN, PANSEY LOUCILE COWAN and HENRIETTA COWAN, Five dollars each, that is it shall be placed by my Executor in some suitable Bank for their use and benefit and there to remain, to be placed there at as good interest as can be obtained, untill they arrive at the age of 21 years that is to say that when SHERROD COWAN reaches his majority he will be entitled to said gift, after this will is Probated, likewise the same will apply to PANSEY LOUCILE, & HENRIETTA COWAN: Third: - It is my will and desire that all my real Estate of which I may die seized and possessed of shall be equally divided between my four sons and one daughter, Viz: - JAMES SHERROD, SAMUEL LOUIS SHERROD, DAVID ETHRIDGE SHERROD and CLYDE TAYLOR SHERROD and my daughter MINNIE LANG, they are to share and share alike in the event either die with out issue their part shall be equally divided among the surviving ____ in the fourth clause of this will in the event that either of them should die and leave children, then in that event said children shall inherite their Mother or Father's part, as the case may be; Fourth I hereby appoint and nominate my son JAMES SHERROD as Executor to this my last will and Testament.
