State of Tennessee Crockett County
March 11th In the year of our Lord 1881

I J. M. PARKER do make and publish this as my last will and testament...

First – I direct that my funeral expences and my just debts be paid...

Secondly – I give and bequeath to my wife EMILY G. PARKER all which should not be disposed of... stock and farming utensils wagon and buggy also all of the household and Kitchen furnature.

I further will and expressly direct that a spot of land at the east end of my garden forty by an hundred and twenty feet including the pressent grave yard shall forever be held and kept for a grave yard for myself my wife my children and their children. I further will and bequeath to my wife EMILY G. PARKER during her natural life all of my landed estate except the above mentioned spot also ten acres in the northeast corner of my tract of land lying near the Baptist Church – This ten acres I will and bequeath to my daughter JOHNETTA PERRY and her bodily heirs and this shall be her portion of my estate.

I further will and direct that at the death of my wife EMILY G. PARKER my daughter ELIZABETH F. YORK shall have the field east of the place upon which she now resides supposed to contain three or four acres... (description of land follows)

I further will and direct that MOLLIE, LULA, and WILLIE YORK children of DR. YORK by his first wife my daughter MARY S. PARKER are to have three acres of land... (description of land follows)

I further will and direct that at the death of my wife EMILY G. PARKER all of my landed estate except that which has been mentioned and disposed of in this will be equally divided between my son J. B. PARKER and my daughter EMMA PARKER and should she die leaving no heir or heirs I will that her portion go to J. B. PARKER

I further will and direct that should my wife EMILY G. PARKER fail to make a disposition before her death of the personal property either by will or gift it be equally divided between my children J. B. PARKER, JOHNETTA PERRY, ELIZABETH F. YORK and EMMA PARKER...
