MRS. ALICE JELKS MONTAGUE Will Probated April term 1915 Minute Book "9" page 672 I, MRS. ALICE JELKS MONTAGUE, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made. 1st. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved husband W. H. MONTAGUE, my house and lot in Bells, Tenn. situated on Christian Avenue where I now live, and also any other real estate I may own at the time of my death, for and during his natural life; and at his death all of said real estate is to go to my sister MRS. CLAUDIA NEAL and her three daughters, LUCY DENT, ALICE and MARY WILL, share and share alike. It is my wish that my said sister CLAUDIA NEIL during her life, after the death of my husband, shall have the management and control and benefit of said real estate; However, this latter clause is not to affect the interest or estate of the said LUCY DENT, ALICE and MARY WILL, but is simply the expression of my wish as to how said property should be managed while their mother lives. 2nd. I give and bequeath to my said husband W. H. MONTAGUE, my house-hold and kitchen furniture and other personal property owned by me at the time of my death; with the request that he give to my sister CLAUDIA NEIL such articles as he my said husband, does not want to keep. I have purposely omitted the name of my son ED. READ as a beneficiary under this will, not because I do not love him nor because I feel unkindly toward him, but for other satisfactory reasons. 3rd. I nominate my husband W. H. MONTAGUE, as the Executor of this my last will and testament and request that he be excused from giving bond as such. In testamony of all of which, I hereunto set my hand and subscribe my name, This, the 10th day of Nov. 1914. ALICE JELKS MONTAGUE
