LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MRS. LILLIAN MIDYETT

I, MRS. LILLIAM MIDYETT, A WIDOW, RESIDING IN ALAMO, TENNESSEE, DO MAKE AND PUBLISH THIS MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, HEREBY REVOKING ALL OTHER TESTAMENTARY DISPOSITIONS MADE BY ME.

I - I DIRECT MY EXECUTOR, HEREINAFTER NAMED, TO GIVE TO MY BODY A CHRISTIAN BURIAL, AND THAT ALL OF MY DEBTS, INCLUDING MY FUNERAL EXPENSES, SHALL BE PAID OUT OF THE FIRST MONEY THAT MAY COME INTO HIS HANDS AS SUCH EXECUTOR.

II - I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY SISTER, MRS. RUTH MONCIER, MY WASH-STAND, MY ENTIRE TOILET SET AND MY ICE REFRIGERATOR.

III - I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY NEICE, JANE FRANCES GREER, MY HALF-BED, TOGETHER WITH THE BED-CLOTHING USED WITH IT, INCLUDING THE MATRESS, PILLOW, SHEET, SPRINGS ETC., AND MY SMALL ROCKING CHAIR.

IV - I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY NEPHEW, PORTER WARD, THE LARGE ROCKING CHAIR THAT WAS USED SO MUCH BY MY DECEASED HUSBAND.

V - I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY GREAT-NEICE, JEAN RICE, MY SEWING MACHINE AND RADIO.

VI - I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY BROTHER, TOM PORTER, ALL OF THE RESIDUE OF MY PROPERTY, OF EVERY KIND, INCLUDING MY MONEY, SUCH AS MAY BE IN CASH AND ON DEPOSIT IN ANY BANK OR OWING TO ME BY AND PERSON.

VII - HAVING FULL FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN MY SAID BROTHER, TOM PORTER, TO ADMINISTER MY EARTHLY POSSESSIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS WILL, I DO NAME AND APPOINT HIM AS EXECUTOR OF THIS WILL AND DIRECT THAT HE SHALL NOT HAVE TO GIVE ANY BOND WHATSOEVER.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I HAVE ON THIS THE 11th DAY OF JUNE 1947, HEREUNTO SET MY HAND.

THE FOREGOING INSTRUMENT, ON TWO SHEETS OF PAPER WAS SIGNED BY THE TESTATOR, MRS. LILLIAN MIDYETT, IN OUR PRESENCE, AND SHE DECLARED IT TO BE HER LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, AND WE, AT HER REQUEST AND IN HER PRESENCE AND SIGHT, AND IN THE PRESENCE OF EACH OTHER, HAVE HEREUNTO SUBSCRIBED OUR NAMES AS ATTESTING WITNESSES, ON THIS THE SAME DAY AND DATE AS SET OUT ABOVE, TO WIT--JUNE 11, 1947.
