Will of R. S. MEDLIN
Probated July 22, 1935

In the Name of God, Amen

I, R. S. MEDLIN, of Crockett Co., State of Tennessee, being of sound mind and memory and considering he uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

First, I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.

Second, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath to my mother, MRS. REBECCA MEDLIN Two thousand dollars to be paid out of the first funds coming into hands of my Executor. I give and bequeath: -
To FRED MEDLIN one thousand dollars
To JOE MEDLIN five hundred dollars
To ETHEL MEDLIN two hundred fifty dollars
To MARY LOU MEDLIN two hundred fifth dollars
To NETTIE PERRY two hundred fifty dollars
To HESTER PERRY Two hundred fifty dollars
These gifts are made to these two girls because of their kindness to my mother.

I wish my executor to expend fifteen hundred dollars for my burial expenses and a monument forself & mother. The remainder of my estate to be divided share & share alike between MRS. KATIE McCALEB, MRS. DORA WILLIAMSON, and MRS. OLLIE LYONS. I direct that my Executor after collecting my insurance, shall advertise & sell my land and all other personal property I may die possessed of.

Lastly, I make, constitute and appoint Merchants State Bank, Humboldt, Tenn. to be my Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former will by me made.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 14 day of Feby. 1924, in the year of our Lord.
