WM. R. JOHNSON Will Probated July Term 1887 See Minute Book D Page 652 In the name of God amen I WILLIAM R. JOHNSON of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory and being mindful of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills heretofore made by me. 1st I direct that my Executor hereinafter named shall pay and satisfy all my just debts including my funeral expences out of any money or property that may be on hand at the time of my death. 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife MARIAH J. all my personal property of every description including all stock farming emplements household and Kitchen furnature money choses in action &c to have and to hold the same absolutely to use or dispose of as she may see and deem proper. 3rd I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife the said MARIAH J. a certain tract of parcel of land situated in the 14 civil District of Crockett Co. Tenn Bounded on the North by the lands of the said MARIAH J. JOHNSON on the east by the 150 tract known as the old C. R. JOHNSON tract on the south by the lands of J. C. BEST on the west by the lands of NOEL the said tract containing 36 acres and the same purchased by me from WILLIAM KING in 1866 the said MARIAH J. to have and hold the same to her own use and benefit for and during her natural life and then the same to revert to my legal heirs as though no disposition of the same land were herein made. Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint the said MARIAH J. JOHNSON as the executor of this my will Given under my hand this May 16th A.D. 1887 W. R. JOHNSON
