I, W. A. JOHNSON do make and publish this my last Will and Testament...

First, I direct that my debts and funeral expenses be paid...

Second, It is my will and I do hereby give and bequeath to my beloved Wife E. J. JOHNSON my home place, or piece of land, the 50 acres deeded to me by PHILLIP PITTMAN, less the lots sold to R. S. THOMPSON, and the one acre West of THOMPSON's to WM. BEST, and including the Lots in front of the residence down to the Mill and Gin lots, Said lots deeded to me by P. B. NANCE and I. M. JOHNSON and wife... also 10 acres of the ALLEN land taken from the West end of the same... about Sixty acres in all.

I also give to my wife the 30 acres of bottom land, lying in Cypress Creek bottom, deeded to me by J. H. EVANS the boundaries in said deed being incorrect, but corrected by a decree of our Chancery Court in case W. A. JOHNSON VS. R. N. McLEMORES heirs, to which decree reference is here made... and at her death it is my Will that the same go to my three little children "EVA" "ALMA" and "ERNEST" to share and share alike with the hope that my Son "ERNEST" may be able to own and reside at the old homestead.

I also give to my wife all of the household and kitchen furniture of any and every kind, my horses, mules and wagon, my farming utensils of every kind, my mower, my Interest in Hoosier-Drill and Acme Harrow, my stock of hogs pork or otherwise, my pork on hand or bacon in house my cows and calves, or other cattle, the poultry of every kind, the growing crops of every kind on my farm or the crops gathered and in the houses of every kind, corn, wheat, oats, fodder, hay &c &c.

Third, I give to my baby girl "ALMA" my Piano

Fourth, I give to my son JESSIE the colt Prince... also Thirty acres of land taken from the East end of the ALLEN place and including the houses and it is also my will that he have the use of such timber for wood as he may want for his own use off of the 30 acres in Cypress bottom during his ownership of the said 30 acres.

Fifth, I give to my Grand daughter LESTER STOTT whom I have raised the sum of One hundred dollars in cash, this I give to her as the share or interest of her Mother my daughter "MARY E. STOTT" in my estate.

Sixth, I give to my children T. G. JOHNSON EMMA MARGRAVES, W. I. JOHNSON, H. E. WEAKS, JOHN C. JOHNSON and THOS. H. JOHNSON, The remainder or about 55 acres of the ALLEN tract of land to share and share alike... also the use of fire wood from the 30 acres in the Cypress bottom while they may own the same.

Seventh, I do nominate and appoint my wife E. J. JOHNSON as Guardian for my three minor children "To Wit" "EVA", "ALMA" and "ERNEST", and to act and serve as such Guardian without giving any bond, also as Guardian for "LESTER STOTT" till her maturity.

Eighth, It is my Will, and I do nominate and appoint my son T. G. JOHNSON and my wife E. J. JOHNSON Executors to this my last Will and Testament, and to so act, and do, without the requirement of bond.
