Will of F. M. JAYNES Probated May 18th 1923 Minute Book 10 Page 667 I, F. M. JAYNES, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made; I – I direct that my executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts as soon as practicable after my death; II – I give and devise to my brother W. W. JAYNES my tract of land lying in the third Civil District of Madison County, containing by estimation, 39 3/100 acres; It being the only land I own in Madison County, Tenn. Said land is encumbered to the extent of about Seventeen Hundred Dollars ($1700.00 which incumbrance the said W. W. JAYNES is to pay; and the same is not to be charged to my estate; III – The remainder of my estate both real and personal, I direct shall be distributed among my heirs and next of kin according to the laws of Tennessee govering descent and distribution; It being impracticable to divide my other tract land consisting of about 42 acres in the First district of Crockett County among my heirs, I direct that my Executor sell said tract of land, for cash, and out of the proceeds pay the incumberance against the land and the remainder of the proceeds to be distributed among my heirs and next of kin as the laws of Tennessee provide; IV – I nominate my brother W. W. JAYNES as Executor of this my last will and testament. Witness my hand this, April 6th 1923 F. M. JAYNES
