Will of MARTHA HUDGINS Probated October Term (probably in 1914, but no year was written) Entered on Minute Book 9 Page 611 I MARTHA HUDGINS being of sound mind and well & being in Reasonable good Health do hereby at my own Home in the Town of Gadsden Tennessee make this writing as a Codicil to my will Therefore made & signed and acknowledged by me & witnessed by W. W. HEARNDON & L. HARRIS on the 25 day of November 1889. Item 1. I hereby and Revoke and make void all of the gifts set out in the original will to my children Except to my daughter ADALENER. I now add to her portion and give to her all of my land & Houshold & Kitchen furnature of every description that I die seized & possessed of. I desire that ADALENER give to her Sister MARTHA ANN a dress worth five dollars She MARTHA ANN to Choose it herself I also request that ADALENER give all of my Children that may be living five dollars each at my death. And I now Request & will that if ADALENER Should die before I do I want my Executor to the Codicil & orriginal will to sell my House and land on such terms as he Can realize the best price and empower him to make title to the Same, & with the proceeds to divide it eaqueally amoungst all my Children that may be living at that time. Lastly I nomonate & appoint MR. COSS E. BRANCH Executor in the room & Stead of B. F. RICHARDSON who is now dead to Carry out the request of this my last will.
