Will of T. P. HOPPER Probated Nov 22nd 1921 Minute Book 10 page __ The Last Will and Testament I, THOMAS P. HOPPER, of the 4th Civil District of Crockett County Tennessee, sound of mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this my Last Will and testament in manner following, that is to say; First – That all my just debts and Funeral Expenses be fully paid. Second – I give and bequeath to my wife, ANN HOPPER, the use and benefit of my homestead consisting of 37 ½ acres, the same on which we now reside, full use and benefit the rest of her natural life. Also the contents of our house, such as the furniture and other household goods gennerally; the family horse and buggy, young cow and calf, all the poultry now on hand and enough hogs for her use and benefit for one year, and out of my notes and accounts collected by the Executor of my will, use and apply the sum of $400. for the use and benefit of the said ANN HOPPER. After the death of my wife, ANN HOPPER, all the property left, real and personal, after the settlement and payment of all cost of her last illness and funeral expenses, shall be divided amongst my heirs. Lastly – I hereby appoint my son M. E. HOPPER to be the Executor of my last Will and Testament hereby revoking any former will that may have been made by me.
