Will of J. M. COCHRAN Probated July Term 1913 Minute Book 9 Page 500 Know all men by these presents that I J. M. CORHRAN of the County of Crockett & State of Tenn., do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills that has been made by me at any time. First I want my just debts all paid, and a decent interment given me at my decease, without any extravagance. Second I want all my property that I die seized and possessed of both real and personal, to be Equally devided between my two daughters MRS. MAY Y. TAYLOR, and MRS. BETTIE WHITE, and the four youngest Children of my Daughter MRS. LEMISA decd. with this exception I want JAMES WHITE my grand son to have my Buggy horse Nig, and MRS. BETTIE WHITE my Daughter to Have my Buggy and Harness, in addition to an Equal devide of all the other property. The Horse I Give to my Grand Son JAMES WHITE because of his kindness to me while I lived at his home, the four grand Children MIRA DAVIS DELIA DAVIS J. C. DAVIS and TOLBERT DAVIS being unable to feed, clothe, and Educate them selves, I Give to them the amount of what their Mothers interest would be if she was living, I do not Give any thing to my three oldest Grand sons, children of my Daughter MRS. LEMISA DAVIS Namely FINIS DAVIS, ED DAVIS and BERNARD DAVIS, they are able to work and take care of them selves, and the four younger ones is not, Besides that an other reason is I have already given to their Father JOHN J. DAVIS more than I will ever be able to give either one of the others. Third I do hereby Nominate and appoint GEORGE T. WHITE to execute this my last will and testament Having full confidence in his honesty and integrity I request of the Courts having Jurisdiction in the cause not to require Bond of him as executive of my will.
