Will of JOHN BURNETT Probated Nov. Term 1895 Minute Book F page 444 I, JOHN BURNETT of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee Being of sound mind, make this my last will, I give devise and bequeath my Estate and property real and personal as follows that is to say - First. I direct my funeral expenses, and all my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible, out of any moneys that I may die possessed of, or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly, I bequeath to the heirs of my daughter MARTHA A. ANTWINE, Viz. MARTHA J. THOMPSON, WM. T. ANTWINE, and JOHN NICHOLS, the sum of one dollar each, The said MARTHA A. ANTWINE having received her part of my property or estate during her lifetime or an amount equal to the amount I now give my other heirs. Thirdly, I direct that the remainder of my property real and personal shall be equally divided among my other heirs Viz. The heirs of ELIZABETH HERRING dec. and heirs of WESLEY BURNETT dec. and D. H. BURNETT, SARAH ROCHELLE, J. T. BURNETT and WM. BURNETT. Fourthly, I direct that all the lands that I may die possessed of shall be sold by my executor in three equal payments, that is to say one third cash another third in twelve months and the remaining third in two years. Fifthly, I desire that the notes I hold against D. H. BURNETT and WM. BURNETT be accounted to them as money for the amount their face value, in their prorata, of my estate. Lastly, I do hereby appoint and nominate WM. T. McLIN of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee my Executor to this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will. This the 15 day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and seventy nine.
