The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, February 6, 1947 Mrs. Maggie Yearwood Funeral services were conducted by R. E. Black of Maury City for Mrs. Maggie Yearwood of near Alamo, on January 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Alamo. Mrs. Yearwood died January 30 at the age of 59. She was born in Crockett County and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Baker. She was a well known and highly respected woman. She is survived by her husband, Willie Yearwood, two daughters, Mrs. Richard Keltner and Mrs. Lonnie Bledsoe of Alamo; four sons, Benny Yearwood of Bells, Newton Yearwood of the U. S. Army, George and James Yearwood of Alamo; three sisters, Mrs. J. O. Alley and Mrs. E. G. Morphis of Bells, Mrs. D. C. Biles of California, one brother, Mr. Fannin Cates of Bells. Burial in Robinson [Robertson] Cemetery with Ronk's Funeral Home in charge. |
