The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, May 9, 1946 Mrs. E. S. Williams Services for Mrs. Frances Williams, 24 year old employee of Goldsmith's, was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Friendship, Tenn., Baptist Church. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home of Halls, Tenn., in charge. Mrs. Williams, who was born in Friendship, died at 12:05 Sunday morning at St. Joseph Hospital. She became a patient April 15. She moved to Memphis two years ago when her husband, E. S. Williams, went overseas with the army. They were married in March, 1940, at Fort Benning, Ga., He is now a jewelry repairman at George T. Brodnax, Inc. A member of the South Fork Baptist Church, she lived at 1509 Madison. Mrs. Williams leaves her 3 year old daughter, Linda Ann; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Hubbard of Friendship; three sisters, Mrs. Bonita Childress and Mrs. Margie Hudson of Memphis and Miss Rosa Hubbard of Friendship, and three brothers, James, Erskin and Roy Hubbard, all of Friendship. Frances Hubbard Williams was the daughter of Roy L. (Shack) Hubbard & Zula Ann Riddick. |
