Crockett (Tenn.) Times, 9 Jan 1958, Page 1: Mrs. Jeff Watkins Mrs. Jeff Watkins, wife of a retired farmer, died after a heart attack Saturday night at her home near Bells. She was 66. Services were at 2 Monday at Cypress Methodist Church near Bells. The Rev. Oscar Patterson and the Rev. Nelson Wade officated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Hugh McCord of Humboldt and Mrs. Robert Rushing of Huntsville, Ala.; a son, Daniel Watkins of Bells; a sister, Mrs. Nelson Hunt of Bells; four brothers, Joe Stephenson of Memphis, B.A. Stephenson and M.K. Stephenson of Potts Camp, Ms., and Owen Stephenson of Humboldt. |
