CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 32 THURSDAY DECEMBER 1, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE FUNERAL--Services for Mrs. R. I. WALKER, who died at her home in Madison County Wednesday were held at the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, burial in Williams Cemetery. She was 78, born in Crockett County, September 8, 1871, the daughter of the late Ponie and Almeda Jackson WILLIAMS. She came to Madison County 45 years ago. She leaves two sons, Ponie WALKER and Carl WALKER, both of Madison County; a daughter, Mrs. H. E. HARRIS, of Lurey; six brothers, Chester WILLIAMS, Zeb WILLIAMS, and Laudell WILLIAMS, all of Fruitvale, Ernest W. WILLIAMS, of Madison County. Otto W. WILLIAMS, of Bells, and Claude WILLIAMS, of Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. Lurline BRYANT and Mrs. Lizzie DUNAGAN both of Bells; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandson. |
