THE HALLS GRAPHIC HALLS, TENNESSEE (Lauderdale Co.) FRIDAY JANUARY 25, 1946 CALVIN E. VANN DIED LAST WEEK AFTER LONG ILLNESS ... Calvin E. VANN, farmer and former barber here, died at his home in the Lebanon community Thursday. He was 47. Mr. VANN was born in Pemiscott Co., Mo., and moved to Crockett County at the age of 5. He had also lived in the Double Bridges community in Lauderdale County, TN. Funeral services were Friday from Lebanon Methodist Church. Rev. C. C. LEWIS officiating, burial in Lebanon cemetery. Mr. VANN leaves his wife, Mrs. Lorrine GRIFFIN VANN; two daughters, Mrs. Adrian VIA and Miss Wilma VANN, both of Memphis; one brother, Rubin VANN, Bells; half-brother, Walter FITZHUGH, Memphis. |
