Alamo Signal Alamo, Crockett County, Tennessee Friday, Feb. 22, 1901 Cross Roads The hearse of Friendship passed through here last Sunday evening with the corpse of Mr. John Tyler, who lived near Friendship. The remains were laid to rest in the Bridger graveyard near this place. We extend to the bereaved ones our sympathy. In same paper, different section: 11th District - Half Way Undertaker Sudberry, of Friendship, passed Half Way last Sunday about 11 o'clock going in the direction of Crockett Mills with a considerable procession following him, and we have learned since that it was the corpse of Mr. Tyler they were following. |
