GADSDEN--After a prolonged illness of intense suffering, MRS. R. K. STEVENS, of Fruitvale, passed away last Thursday. After funeral services by Elder PAISLEY, of Alamo, her remains were interred in Cypress Cemetery. She leaves her husband, who is seriously ill at this time, one son and six step-children to whom she graciously filled a mother's place. One son, Morton, was sacrificed on the battlefield of France.
