The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 20, 1946 Henry G. Stallings Henry G. Stalling died Saturday night at his home on Highland Avenue in Jackson at the age of 80. Mr. Stallings was in the mercantile business at Maury City for a number of years and retired several years ago to his fine farm, "Shady Rest" which he sold several months ago. Mr. Stallings was a member of the Church of Christ and one of the leading citizens of Crockett County for the greater part of his life. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hygene Phillips Stallings of Jackson. He was a member of one of the pioneer families of the county and one of its most successful farmers and business men. Funeral services were held at the Griffin Funeral Home in Jackson Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock by H. A. Dixon, assisted by Frank Van Dyke.
