Services were held Tuesday at Hunt Funeral Home for FRED G. SPRAGGINS, retired marble cutter. He died at Oursler Clinic on Sunday after an extended illness, burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, he was 71. Born and reared near Gadsden, son of the late JAMES and LOU SPRAGGINS, he spent most of his life in Humboldt. He leaves his wife, MRS. MINNIE SPRAGGINS; a sister, MRS. J. W. LOCKE; and a brother, O. C. SPRAGGINS, all of Humboldt.
