Shellabarger-Services for former Bells Resident-Jackson, Tenn., Dec. 17--Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Shellabarger who died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Margie Tate at 11:50 Thursday night were held at the Smith Funeral Home chapel Saturday morning at 10:00 with Rev. R. E. Guy officiating. Burial was in Belleview Cemetery at Bells, Tenn. She was 74. Born at Union, Ohio, Mrs. Shellabarger moved to Bells in 1896. At the death of her husband in 1920, she moved to Jackson. She was a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church and of the Bells Sunday School class. She leaves three sons, Earl Shellabarger of Bells, Willis Shellabarger of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jesse Shellabarger of Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Shelton of Henderson; a brother, Will Hissong of Phillipsburg, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Lavine Klepinger of West Milton, Ohio and Mrs. Jennie McCormick of Verda, Ill. |
