Mrs. John Privett

Mrs. Nancy Lucenda Hay Privett, 85, died on Thursday at her home near Alamo. She was the widow of the late John Privett and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Hay and was born and reared in this county.

Mrs. Hay was a member of the Baptist Church and is survived by three children, Mrs. Annie Lee Privett, J. R. Privett and Oscar Privett of near Alamo and one sister, Mrs. Will Lott of Crockett Mills and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Johnson Grove Baptist Church Saturday by the Rev. Ewell Hughes and the Rev. J. T. Barker. Burial was in Providence cemetery.
