Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, February 6, 1874 (Very blurry and hard to read) Died, at the residence of W. F. Poston, Esq., in this place, of congestion, on Wednesday morning, the 4th inst., Mr. James Poston; aged seventeen years. Jimmy Poston is dead! In the prime of life - the bloom of youth - he was ____ from amongst us. Noble, generous, kind hearted, beloved by all who knew him. His funeral was preached in the Methodist Church at 11:00 yesterday morning, by Rev. McAnully?, and his remains were _____ to the cemetery by a number of friends, all the students of the school at the Academy, which he was attending at the time of his death. |
