MOTHER OF LOCAL RESIDENT DIES ... Services were held in Sudbury Funeral Home Tuesday for Mrs. Marriah Malviana PEAL, mother of Albert PEAL of this place, who died early Monday morning at the home of another son, Lawrence PEAL, near Maury City. Burial was in Floyd's Chapel cemetery. Mrs. PEAL was 91, a lifelong resident of Crockett County. She also leaves three other sons, Grover PEAL, Dyersburg, John PEAL, Ridgely, and Carl PEAL, Memphis.

Mrs. Marriah Peal Crockett Countian Dies at 91

Services were held at Sudbury Funeral Home at 2 Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Marriah Malviana Peal, who died early Monday morning at the home of her son, Lawrence Peal, near Maury City. Ross Spears of Dyersburg Church of Christ minister, officiated with burial in Floyd cemetery. Mrs. Peal was 91.

She was a life long Crockett Countian and was the last survivor of a prominent pioneer family of this area. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She also leaves four other sons, Albert Peal of Halls, Grover Peal of Dyersburg, John Peal of Ridgely and Carl Peal of Memphis.
