The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 13, 1946 Henry Hugh Pearson Mr. Henry Hugh Pearson, prominent farmer of Crockett County near Bells, passed away at his home Friday at 1:15 a.m. of a heart attack. He had been in failing health for over a year and had given up all active duties. Mr. Pearson was born November 11, 1875 in Crockett County where he spent his entire life, devoting it to his community and farming interests. He had been an active member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Humphreys Pearson, three sons, Hugh Pearson, Jackson, Fred and Clyde Pearson, Bells; one daughter, Mrs. Rufus White, Humboldt; three granddaughters, three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Turner, Bells, Mrs. Cora Stedman, Henderson Mrs. Mary Jones, Memphis and one brother, Oscar Pearson, Gadsden. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. June 8 at the Church of Christ, Bells. Burial was in Bellview cemetery. Goosmann Funeral Home in charge. |
