Beulah Boals Palmore
20 Aug 1906 – 24 May 1989

Services for Mrs. Beulah Boals Palmore, 82, will b at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Humboldt Funeral Home with Dr. Ed North officiating. Burial will follow at the South Fork Cemetery near Halls, Tennessee.

Mrs. Palmore was the widow of the late Herman Palmore. She was born in Crockett County, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Black Boals. She was a retired schoolteacher, having served in the Crockett County School System, where she was a past recipient of the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. Mrs. Palmore was a member of the First Baptist Church in Humboldt, where she worked in the library.

She is survived by two sisters, Miss Carrie Boals and Mrs. Essie B. Ray both of Memphis and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
