Mrs. Melissa Mitchell--Mrs. Melissa Mitchell, 73, of the Eason Store community, died at her home Friday following a stroke. Mrs. Mitchell was the widow of the late Napoleon Mitchell who died in 1945. She was a member of the Church of Christ. One sister, Mrs. Brue Hampton of Halls, survives. She was a native of Missouri. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Clark's School building and burial was in Robertson Cemetery. Services were by E. L. Ward of Brownsville. Ronk Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
