Mrs. Sam Lowenhaupt

Covington, Tenn. – Services for Mrs. Sam Lowenhaupt, who died Thursday morning were held Friday, April 18 at 11 at the Maley Funeral Home. The Rev. E. F. McDaniel, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiated. Burial in Munford Cemetery. She was 70.

Mrs. Lowenhaupt had been an active member of the First Methodist Church for many years. She was before her marriage Miss Nettie Mae Menefee. She was born in Nashville March 29, 1877. She moved to Covington when a young girl. She was married May 23, 1895.

Mrs. Lowenhaupt leaves a son, S. B. Lowenhaupt, cashier of the First State Bank of Covington, and a daughter, Mrs. I. L. Spence of Bells.

Mrs. Lowenhaupt had visited her daughter in Bells and made many friends who were grieved over her passing.
