Alamo Signal Alamo, Crockett County, Tennessee Friday, Friday, May 13, 1910 Willie, the little three or four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lanier, while out at play in his father's horse lot Monday afternoon was kicked on his bowels by a horse. A Physician was called in at once, but the little fellow must have received severe internal injury as he died Tuesday about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. His remains were taken Wednesday morning about 11 o'clock down near Crockett Mills where they were given interment in the Lanier family graveyard, funeral services being conducted by J. C. W. Nunn. It was sad, so sad! Little Willie was a bright, interesting little fellow, the very idol of his parents, and the pet of all. But such sad scenes are the incidents of life. |
