The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, July 18, 1946 Herbert L. King Services for Herbert L. King, who died at Oakville Sanatorium early Tuesday morning where held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Church of Christ in Friendship with J. E. Green, minister, officiating. Burial in Sudbury Cemetery. Mr. King, who had been in ill health, was 37. He was born in Dyer County near Friendship and received his education in the schools at Friendship. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Until his illness he was an employee of the Memphis Street Railway Co. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Frances Beaver King of Friendship; a daughter, Mona Faye King of Friendship; a son, David King of Friendship; two sisters, Mrs. J. T. Gregory of Memphis and Mrs. James Carman of Friendship and his mother, Mrs. Carrie King of Friendship. |
