The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 19, 1947 Elmo King Services for Egbert Elmo King were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the First Christian Church in Alamo by the Rev. E. R. Vaughn, pastor and the Rev. E. R. Vaughn, pastor and the Rev. Frank Perry of Crockett Mills. Burial was at Cairo with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mr. King died early Friday morning of a heart attack at his home in Alamo and it was quite a shock as he was apparently in good health. He was a farmer and had lived in this county all of his life. He was 72 years of age and had many friends in the town and county. His wife, two sons, Zell King of Lawrenceburg, and Lonnie King of Decaturville; one daughter, Miss Ester King of Alamo, and two brothers, Garner King and George King of Trenton, survive. |
