The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, September 4, 1947 Richard Johnson Services for Richard Johnson, retired farmer, who died at his home near Alamo, Wednesday, were held Thursday afternoon at Pond Creek Methodist Church, the Rev. Paul Palmer officiating. Burial was in Pond Creek Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Johnson was 82. He was born in Crockett County and was a member of the Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, five sons, Jim Johnson, Bragg City, Mo., Willie Johnson, Alamo, Carl Johnson, Clarkston, Tenn., Odell Johnson, California and Clint Johnson of Alamo. Two daughters, Mrs. Mose Jackson of Bragg City, Mo., and Mrs. Dora Mitzley of St. Louis, one sister, Mrs. Amos Gibbons of Caruthersville, Mo., one step son, Carl Duncan of Alamo. |
