The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 3, 1937 Mr. Henry Hughes Mr. Henry Hughes, known to most of us as "Uncle Henry" passed away about 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. He was 82 years of age. He had been in declining health for several years, but bore his suffering patiently to the end. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and loved by all his neighbors and friends. He leaves four boys, Jim Blan, Claude, Alvin, Tommie. Also three girls, Mrs. Carl Woods, Mrs. Mollie Harber, Mrs. Mattie Williams, and several grandchildren. He was buried at Elizabeth Monday. Evans & Lasiter, undertakers in charge. |
