Humboldt Courier-Chronicle Humboldt, Tennessee Volume XXII No. 9 Friday, March 4, 1921 Death-This community has lost one of its best citizens and neighbors Monday morning when Esquire Thomas P. Hopper passed to his rewards. His body was laid to rest in Salem Cemetery by Salem Church where he had so often met with neighbors and friends to worship God. The wife of his first marriage and mother of eight children had preceded him to the "Better Land", leaves four sons who still survive. He was 70 years old. A few years ago he was married a second time to a woman who so faithfully and patiently stayed him and administered to his every want and need. |
