The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, December 4, 1947 Dr. Julius Acton Hinton Dr. Julius Acton Hinton, aged about 84, died Tuesday morning at his home in Tampa, Fla. Dr. Hinton was reared at Friendship by his uncle, the late Capt. A. T. Fielder. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Miria Dawson of Bells and was a brother in law of Hon. Hallum W. Goodloe of Nashville. Dr. Hinton was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Department of Medicine, and practiced medicine in Bells for many years. He also operated a drug store at that place. Dr. Hinton will be remembered here by the older citizens as one of the outstanding citizens and professional men of his time. He moved away from this county a number of years ago. |
