ENTERPRISE FRIDAY JANUARY 19, 1968 FURNACE GAS KILLS PARENTS OF RIPLIAN IN BELLS RESIDENCE---Mr. & Mrs. Frank HERRON, parents of Mrs. Jack DAILEY, of Ripley, were found dead at their home in Bells about 9 a.m. Monday, when a negro woman received no answer to her knocking. Crockett County authorities said they were overcome by a gas floor furnace that was not working properly. Services were in First Methodist Church in Bells, with burial in Bellview Cemetery. Mr. HERRON, 76, was a retired produce farmer. Mrs. HERRON, a native of Roxton, Texas was 73. They leave another daughter, Mrs. James HIGGS of Pittsburg, PA. He leaves two brothers, John HERRON, of Trezevant and Horace HERRON of Huntington. She leaves four sisters, Mrs. Julia STEVENS & Mrs. Wallace HICKMAN, both of Okla. City, OK, and Mrs. Angeline HUDSON & Mrs. Christine POLSON, both of Dallas, Texas.
