F. P. Hefley

Funeral services for Franklin Pierce Hefley, 78, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ronk Funeral Home Chapel in Alamo with the Rev. Carl Davis of Gadsden officiating. Burial was at Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Hefley died early Sunday night at his home near Gadsden. He had been primarily confined to his home as a result of a storke four years ago.

He was a retired farmer and a World War I veteran. Surving are his widow Mrs. Mary Boyd Hefley.
