The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 4, 1946 Mrs. J. F. Hardison Mrs. J. F. Hardison, 79, of Maury City, died at her home Thursday night at 8:30 of heart disease. She had been ill several days. She was born in Crockett County and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Services were held at Maury City Baptist Church by the Rev. Harvey Smith. Burial in Belleview Cemetery at Bells, Tenn., with Evans & Lasiter Funeral Home in charge. She leaves three nephews, Lloyd Helen of Dyersburg, Paul A. Helen of the United States Army, and Frank Carter, Miami, Fla.
Willie Carter was the daughter of John F. Carter & Nancy A. (Nannie) Smith. She married 11 Mar 1886 in Crockett Co. to John Franklin Hardison, the son of Asa Hardison & Clara (Clarry) Robason |
