CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 3 THURSDAY MAY 12, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE FUNERAL--Military rites for Thomas L. GREEN, colored, 22, son of Ike GREEN, of Alamo, were held Sunday at Midyett Chapel Colored Methodist Church, burial in Harris Grove Cemetery. Thomas died while in service on a ship going overseas. His father; step-mother, Flora; four brothers, Andrew, John, Elbert and Homer Clyde; three sisters, Jennie Lee JAMES, Opeline SERCEY, and Bettie Lou REZES survive. |
