Lauderdale County Enterprise Friday Apri 5,1968 Mrs. Lalar Virginia Noel GASKIN, 77, of Nankipoo, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday in Lauderdale County Hospital, which she entered Wednesday of last week after a long illness. Services were Wednesday in Enon Baptist Church, burial in Halls Cemetery. Born in Crockett County, she moved to Lauderdale County in 1948. She was the widow of Oscar GASKIN, Lauderdale County landowner, who died in January, 1952. She leaves her sons, William GASKIN and Johnny GASKIN, both of Halls, Woodrow GASKIN, of Memphis, and Ron GASKIN, of Long Beach, Calif.; her daughters, Mrs. Mary BEASLEY, of Ripley, Mrs.Bertha WILLIAMS, of Golddust, Mrs. Opal MOODY, of Kennett, Mo., and Mrs. Lena THOMPSON, of Omaha, Neb.; her brother, Tollie NOEL, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; her sister, Mrs.Pearl BYER, of Enon, Miss.; and her half-sister, Mrs. Beulah GONZALES, of Norwalk, Calif. |
