The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, May 29, 1947 George Isaac Ferrell Services for George Isaac (Ike) Ferrell, farmer, who died at his home near Maury City at 6:15 a.m., Sunday was held at Floyd's Chapel Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. R. L. Roach, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Sudbury Funeral Home. Mr. Ferrell was 63. He was a lifelong resident of Crockett County and a member of the Floyd's Chapel Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Katie Earl Jackson Ferrell, two sons, Clois Ferrell of Halls and Delois Ferrell of Friendship, sic daughters, Mrs. Cecil Lewllyng of Finley, Mrs. A. D. Jones of Friendship, Mrs. James Taylor and Mrs. Woodrow Taylor, both of Halls, Mrs. Asa Fisher of Maury City and Mrs. Grady Faulkner of Humboldt; two brothers, J. T. Ferrell of Halls and Banard Ferrell of Friendship and two sisters, Mrs. Calvin Privett of Collierville and Mrs. Susie Cleek of Medon. |
