The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 8, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 2 OLIVER T. DELINGHAM Oliver T. Delingham, 53 years old passed away at his home in Chicago on February 24th. He was born in Montgomery, Ala. and spent the early part of his life in Monroe County, Iowa. Later he married Catherine Brothers in Chicago and they have two sons, John and Lee. Mr. Delingham was a post office employee for 31 years and was general foreman of the registry division in the main post office and was a past commander of Van Buren Post No. 401 of the American Legion, also the president of the Last Man's Club an organization from the above post. Services were held at St. Killan's Catholic Church on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Past Commanders of his post acted as pall bearers with complete Military services at the grave side in St. Mary's Cemetery in Chicago. Mr. Delingham is the cousin of Mrs. Andrew J. Tucker of Alamo and Mrs. H. B. Boswell of Bells. Mrs. Tucker and Mrs. Boswell spent several days in Chicago and attended the funeral.
